1. Assistant Engineer – RE (Asset Management/O&M)

Full-time Regular Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation) from a State Technical Board or AICTE/UGC recognized institute, with pass marks
Min. 10 years post-qualification site experience in Power Sector, incl. min. 6 years in 50 MW+ grid-connected Solar/Wind Project O&M or Asset Management
Age limit: 40 Years.

2. Deputy General Manager – RE

Full-time Engineering Graduate (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university/institute (SC/ST/PwBD candidates: passing marks)
Min. 12 years post-qualification executive experience in Power Sector, incl. min. 10 years with a Renewable Energy Developer of Solar/Wind Project(s), and min. 2 years site experience in 50 MW+ project construction/erection/commissioning
Age limit: 44 Years.

Educational Qualification

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has released Advertisement No. 02/26 inviting online applications for 114 posts of Assistant Engineer – RE (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance), E-0 Grade, and Deputy General Manager – RE, E-6 Grade, across NGEL's Corporate/Station/Sites/Clusters/JVs and subsidiaries all across India, for its renewable energy (solar and wind) business. Applications must be submitted online only via the careers section of ngel.in. The last date for submission of online applications has been officially extended from 31 July 2026 to 31 August 2026 (18:00 Hrs) — however, the eligibility cut-off date for age, qualification and experience remains 31 July 2026 as per the notification. Selection will involve application shortlisting/screening followed by Written Test/Group Discussion/Interview or a combination thereof, as decided by NGEL Management.
