SSC CHSL 2026 — Notification Expected Soon
SSC CHSL 2026 — Notification Expected Soon — Recruitment Details
The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2026 notification from the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has not been released yet. As per SSC's own Examination Calendar 2026-27, the notification was originally scheduled for 30 April 2026, but its release has since been delayed. Multiple sources currently indicate the notification is expected to be published in August 2026 on the official SSC website. Once released, SSC CHSL 2026 will recruit candidates for posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO), through a qualifying Tier I exam, a merit-deciding Tier II exam, and a mandatory skill or typing test — with no physical or height requirements. Based on vacancies released in recent years (3,131 posts in the last cycle), the number of posts is typically in the 3,000 to 6,000 range, though the confirmed vacancy count for 2026 will only be known once SSC publishes the official notification. Eligible candidates will need to have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board, and fall within the 18 to 27 year age bracket, with standard age relaxation applicable to reserved categories; specific posts such as LDC/JSA and DEO may require Mathematics at the Class 12 level. This page will be updated with the SSC CHSL 2026 apply online link, exact vacancy count, application dates, exam pattern and syllabus as soon as the Staff Selection Commission publishes the official notification.
