About This Recruitment
UPSC has released Examination Notice No. 01/2027-GEOL for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2027, inviting applications for 127 posts across the Geological Survey of India (111 posts — Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and their Assistant grades) and Central Ground Water Board (16 posts — Scientist B and Assistant Hydrogeologist/Chemist/Geophysicist). Candidates need a Master's degree in the relevant discipline. Selection is a 3-stage process: Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and a Personality Test/Interview.
